From Halifax To Vancouver in ONE road trip!
Ever dreamed of seeing Canada from coast to coast? Well now is your chance! Our journey begins on Friday, July 11th and will finish on Saturday, August 16th of 2008. Join the McDonald family as they embark on this epic family adventure.

Friday, July 11th: The adventure begins! We’ll leave the Have Fun Out There Headquarters in Port Colborne, Ontario, and head for Halifax! |

Sunday, July 13th through Monday, July 14th: After a luxurious night at the Nova Scotia Westin you’ll find us checking out Theodore the Tugboat, exploring both pavement and ocean in the Harbour Hopper, and Whale watching in Lunenburg. |

Tuesday, July 15th: New Brunswick, here we come! After a Ferry ride from Digby to Saint John, New Brunswick we’ll be exploring all that New Brunswick has to offer as we make our way towards Quebec. |

Wednesday, July 16th: Quebec City, Tres Bien! |

Thursday, July 17th: Arriving in North Bay, Ontario. |

Saturday, July 19th: Thunder Bay, Ontario, a great lakes city! |

Monday, July 21st: Winnipeg, home of Neil Young, The Waillin’ Jennies and many other great musicians. |

Tuesday, July 22nd: Arrive in Regina, the largest city in Saskatchewan. |

Wednesday, July 23rd: Drumheller, Alberta! We’ll be taking an old fashioned train ride on the Stettler Express, and we hear there may be a train robbery! |

Friday, July 25th: Waterton Provincial Park, home of The Prince Of Wales Hotel. |

Tuesday, July 29th to 31st: Arrive in Vancouver, British Columbia, our arrival to Ocean #2 on the journey! We’ll be spending a night at the wonderful Westin Bayshore, continuing on to Squamish where we’ll camp at Paradise Valley and then on to Whistler, home of the Olympics in 2010! |

Sunday, August 3rd: Arrive in Banff, Alberta. A very “metropolitan” mountain city. |

Tuesday, August 5th: Lake Louis, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. |

Wednesday, August 6th to 7th: Yee Haw, we’re in Calgary! We’ll be resting our spurs at the Calgary Westin and then we’ll mosey on down to the Calgary Zoo to see some new exhibits. |

Friday, August 15th: A tour of Toronto, Ontario, Canada’s “little NYC”. |

Saturday, August 16th: End of the Have Fun Out There 2008 Summer Expedition. |
